Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.”

Hey, Friends and Family!

So happy you are able to join me in this reading today!

And let me tell you something—we are going to talk about something that I believe is absolutely necessary!

Pray! Pray! And Pray Some More!

Yes! You heard me!

PRAY! 🙏

This is not to create fear but to make you aware that prayer is necessary. Without it, we can begin living as though we are telling God, “I can handle my tests, my trials, and everything happening in my life all by myself.”

But can we?

Absolutely not!

We need God in every area of our lives, and we need to communicate with our Heavenly Father about every single thing, whether good or bad.

Yes, and I get it—God knows everything about your life and the things that are transpiring.

He already knows what you need before you even ask Him!

But He still tells us to come to Him.

Matthew 7:7 (KJV) says:

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

But let me ask you a question.

Why are we not praying like we should?

Are we waiting for something to transpire before we talk to God?

Are we waiting until the doctor’s report comes back?

Until our children are in trouble?

Until our finances fall apart?

Until our homes are filled with confusion?

Why are we waiting?

God is waiting to hear from us!

You’re probably thinking, Well, I don’t need anything from God right now, so why pray?

What?!?!

Wait a minute!

Who said prayer was only about asking God for something?

Prayer is also about having a relationship with our Heavenly Father!

Whether you need something or not, we must seek His face, seek His will, and pursue His presence—not only for our own lives but for our communities, our families, our nation, our friends, our neighbors, and let’s not forget about our enemies!

Yes! Our enemies too!

Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44 (KJV):

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”

Now, that right there will make you think!

Because sometimes the very person you don’t feel like praying for is the person who needs your prayers the most.

Who Is Standing in the Gap? 🙏

There is so much warfare happening just in our nation by itself!

And God is looking for someone to stand in the gap and intercede on behalf of our nation, our president, our congressmen, our senators, Democratic and Republican leaders—and the list goes on and on.

Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV) says:

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

Can you imagine that?

God was looking for someone to stand in the gap!

Someone willing to pray.

Someone willing to intercede.

Someone willing to seek His face!

But if we sit idly by with our heads stuck in the sand, acting as if nothing is happening around us, how will we recognize the need to pray?

We cannot afford to become so distracted by the cares of this world that we forget the power and importance of prayer.

Church, we need to PRAY!

Not just when things go wrong.

Not just when the enemy attacks.

Not just when we need a miracle.

But every single day!

Wait a Minute! Parents Are Teaching Their Children WHAT?!?!

So, as you know, I was inspired by something I saw on YouTube.

A content creator was talking about how parents are teaching their children witchcraft and how to use it to fight against their bullies at school.

WHAT?!?! 😳

Hold on!

Let me say this again for those in the back of the congregation!

“Parents are teaching their kids how to use witchcraft to defend themselves from bullies.”

Y’all!

This is crazy!

SUPER CRAZY!

And I am appalled that this is happening!

Now, I cannot personally verify every claim made in that video, but the subject itself raised some serious concerns for me.

Because when did we stop teaching our children to pray and start encouraging them to seek spiritual power from practices that, according to my understanding of Scripture, are contrary to God’s Word?

What happened to teaching our children to call on the name of Jesus?

What happened to teaching them that God is their refuge and strength?

What happened to teaching them how to forgive, seek help, stand up for what is right, and trust God through difficult situations?

And let me make something clear.

Bullying is serious!

Children need protection, guidance, responsible adults who will intervene, and safe ways to address bullying.

But as a believer, I do not believe teaching children to practice witchcraft is the answer.

I believe we must teach them how to pray, how to seek God’s wisdom, and how to stand in faith while taking the necessary steps to keep them safe.

This Is Nothing to Play With!

Y’all, I believe parents have a tremendous responsibility concerning what they teach their children.

The spiritual beliefs and practices we introduce into our homes can influence future generations.

From my Christian perspective, teaching children to participate in practices that Scripture warns against can open the door to spiritual confusion, deception, and bondage.

And I believe we must be careful about what we pass down to our children and future generations.

This is nothing to play with!

The devil and his forces are real according to Scripture, but let me tell you something even greater!

GOD IS GREATER THAN ALL!

Did you hear me?

GREATER!

I believe the enemy desires to deceive, destroy, and draw people away from God.

John 10:10 (KJV) says:

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

But Jesus came that we might have LIFE!

And not just life—but life more abundantly!

Parents, please teach your little ones about God.

Teach them to pray.

Teach them the Word.

Teach them how to recognize truth from deception.

Teach them that they do not need to seek spiritual power outside of God to overcome the challenges of this world.

And most importantly, teach them that Jesus loves them!

Come Out of Agreement With Every Form of Witchcraft!

Now, I want to pray.

And I mean PRAY! 🙏🔥

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I come before Your throne of grace!

I plead the blood of Jesus right now over the minds of these parents, their children, their homes, and their future generations.

Father, open their spiritual eyes to Your truth!

Where there is deception, bring understanding.

Where there is confusion, bring clarity.

Where there is bondage, bring deliverance.

And where there is darkness, let the light of Jesus Christ shine!

Father, I pray that every person participating in practices contrary to Your Word will recognize the need to repent, turn away, and come into agreement with Your truth.

Come out of agreement with every form of witchcraft!

1. Witchcraft and Spellwork

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for those involved in practices such as:

  • Witchcraft

  • Sorcery

  • Spell casting

  • Black magic

  • White magic

  • Wicca

  • Hoodoo

  • Hexes and curses

  • Binding spells

  • Love spells

  • Ritual magic

Lord, I pray that those seeking supernatural power, protection, revenge, or control through these practices will turn their hearts toward You.

Let them discover that true peace, hope, and salvation are found in Jesus Christ.

Father, break the influence of deception and lead them into Your truth.

In Jesus’ mighty name!

2. Divination and Fortune-Telling

Father, in the name of Jesus, we plead the blood of Jesus and pray against every form of spiritual deception associated with:

  • Tarot card reading

  • Psychic readings

  • Palm reading

  • Astrology

  • Horoscope readings

  • Numerology

  • Crystal ball gazing

  • Pendulum divination

  • Rune casting

  • Tea leaf reading

  • Scrying

  • Ouija boards

Father, Your Word teaches us to seek You for wisdom, guidance, and understanding.

We do not need to consult the stars to discover our purpose when we can seek the One who created the stars!

Did you hear that?!?

Why seek answers from creation when we can seek the CREATOR?

James 1:5 (KJV) says:

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

Father, draw hearts away from spiritual practices that lead them away from You and toward the wisdom found in Your Word.

3. Spirit Communication and Mediumship

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for those who participate in:

  • Mediumship

  • Channeling

  • Necromancy

  • Séances

  • Seeking spirit guides

  • Automatic writing

  • Consulting the dead

  • Spirit summoning

Father, Your Word warns us against seeking guidance through communication with the dead and forbidden spiritual practices.

We pray for wisdom, repentance, understanding, and freedom through Jesus Christ.

Lord, rebuke the works of darkness and lead those seeking spiritual answers into the truth of Your Word.

May they come to know You as their Savior, their Redeemer, and their everlasting Father.

And Father, teach us to speak the truth in love, remembering that people are not our enemies.

In Jesus’ mighty name, AMEN!

God Has Not Given Us the Spirit of Fear!

Now, listen to me, friends and family!

I do not want anyone reading this blog to become fearful.

That is NOT the purpose of this message!

God tells us to pray without ceasing!

1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV):

“Pray without ceasing.”

And He has not given us the spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind!

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV):

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

And let me remind you of something else!

NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER!

Isaiah 54:17 (KJV):

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.”

Please know that our Sovereign Lord is greater than anything!

Everything is subject unto Him!

There is nothing or no one greater than Jesus Christ!

So we do not walk in fear of what the devil can do.

We walk in faith, knowing whom we serve!

Now, that does not mean we will never experience hardship, opposition, suffering, or trials.

But it does mean we can trust God to sustain us and remain faithful to His promises.

Put On the WHOLE Armor of God! 🛡️

God tells us to put on the whole armor of God!

Not some of it.

Not half of it.

ALL OF IT!

Ephesians 6:11–12 (KJV):

11 “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Did you catch that?

WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD!

That means our spiritual battle is not against our neighbors, coworkers, family members, or even those who disagree with our faith.

And that is why we must remember to pray for people rather than condemn them.

Ephesians 6:18 (KJV) says:

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

You cannot fight a spiritual battle with physical weapons!

The Bible reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood.

Our spiritual defense is not rooted in fear, superstition, or human power, but in the truth of God’s Word, faith, righteousness, salvation, peace, and prayer.

And here is something important!

God never told us to put on half the armor. He said put on the WHOLE armor!

The belt of truth!

The breastplate of righteousness!

The shoes of the Gospel of peace!

The shield of faith!

The helmet of salvation!

And the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God!

Not just on Sunday mornings!

Not just when trouble comes knocking!

Not just when you feel spiritually attacked!

But stand firmly in Christ EVERY DAY!

James 4:7 (KJV) says:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

And notice something!

Before the Scripture tells us to resist the devil, it tells us to SUBMIT OURSELVES TO GOD!

Oh, that is powerful!

Because submission to God comes before resistance to the enemy.

Final Aha Moment! 🔥🙏

Now, friends and family, before I close, let me leave you with something to think about.

We spend so much time preparing for the things we can see.

We prepare for work.

We prepare for vacations.

We prepare for retirement.

We prepare for storms.

We prepare for emergencies.

But how much time do we spend preparing ourselves spiritually through prayer and the Word of God?

Think about that!

We make sure our phones are charged before leaving the house.

We make sure our cars have gas.

We make sure our doors are locked before going to bed.

But have we taken the time to pray?

Have we sought the face of God?

Have we thanked Him for keeping us through another night?

Have we prayed over our children, our families, our communities, and our nation?

Aha Moment! 💡

Prayer should never be our last resort when trouble comes knocking. Prayer should be our daily conversation with the One who already knows what is standing on the other side of the door!

And here’s another thought!

The weapon may be formed, but that does not mean it will prosper!

The storm may come!

The trial may come!

The opposition may come!

But none of those things can change who God is!

He is still Sovereign!

He is still Almighty!

He is still our Refuge!

And He is still worthy of our trust!

So, friends and family, don’t wait until your world is falling apart to seek the face of God.

Pray when things are going well!

Pray when things are difficult!

Pray when you have plenty!

Pray when you have little!

Pray when you understand!

And pray when you don’t understand a single thing that is happening around you!

PRAY! PRAY! AND PRAY SOME MORE!

Because prayer is not just something we do when we need God to move.

Prayer is how we continue building our relationship with the God who loves us, hears us, and walks with us every single day!

And that, my friends, is today’s Aha Moment!

Until next time, keep the faith, keep standing on God’s Word, and above all else…

KEEP PRAYING! ❤️🙏
