Proud To Be American Regardless…

Proud To Be American

Regardless…

Hey Blog Readers,

I’m up early again… and no, it’s not 4:30 this morning.

What?!?!

Oh yes, this is how I love to begin my mornings—before the world becomes noisy.

I get quiet before the Lord.

I silence the distractions so I can hear the gentle whisper of His voice.

This is where my blogs are born—not from clever ideas, but from moments of waiting in His presence. He speaks, and I simply write what He places on my heart.

Waiting on God isn’t wasted time.

It’s preparation.

For years many of us have relied on our own strength, our own plans, and our own understanding. But I believe God lovingly asks us,

“Will you give Me room to write upon the tablet of your heart? Will you allow Me to reveal My purpose for your life? Will you trust Me with your future?”

The road may appear unfamiliar.

It may even seem long, lonely, and uncertain.

But God reminds us:

“You have never walked this way before, but neither has the generation before you. I am doing a new thing. Will you let Me lead you?”

Sometimes God intentionally leads us down roads we’ve never traveled because our destiny has never existed before.

Yes, the path may feel wide.

Yes, it may seem difficult.

But it is also filled with incredible discoveries.

On the other side of your obedience are:

  • God’s promises.

  • Your purpose.

  • Your destiny.

  • Financial freedom.

  • Healing.

  • Peace.

  • Mental and emotional wellness.

  • New opportunities you never imagined.

Pause for a moment.

Look behind you.

Can you see how far you’ve already come?

There were days you wanted to quit.

Days you were exhausted.

Days you questioned whether you were making any progress at all.

Yet…

You kept going.

You climbed mountains one faithful step at a time.

When you finally reached the mountaintop, God allowed you to look across another valley. Maybe you wondered,

“Lord…how am I going to make it through this one?”

And once again He gently whispered,

“The same way you climbed the mountain…trust Me.”

So today…

Rest.

Catch your breath.

Refuel your strength.

Pray.

Seek My face.

Then trust Me again.

Friend, do you hear the encouragement of God today?

“You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.” (Philippians 4:13)

I believe God is saying,

“I am proud of you.”

You have become stronger.

You have become wiser.

You have become dependable.

You have remained faithful.

And your latter days will outshine your former days because I am still writing your story.

There is nothing wrong with being grateful for how far God has brought you.

Not pride rooted in arrogance…

But gratitude rooted in humility.

A confidence that says,

“Look what the Lord has done.”

Last night reminded me of that very truth.

After what I witnessed, I can honestly say…

Regardless…I am proud to be an American.

Not because of politics.

Not because everyone agrees.

But because I witnessed something my heart has long desired to see.

People coming together.

Families.

Neighbors.

Strangers.

Waiting patiently.

Standing together.

Hoping together.

Believing together.

It reminded me that unity is still possible.

I saw people endure the rain.

They waited with expectation.

The doors eventually opened.

Thousands entered together.

And what awaited them on the other side was unforgettable.

Isn’t that just like God?

Sometimes He asks us to wait before He opens the door.

Sometimes perseverance comes before promotion.

Sometimes the rain comes before the celebration.

But faithful waiting is never wasted.

God rewards those who continue to trust Him.

That is why I can proudly say I love this nation—not because it is perfect, but because I still believe in the possibilities that exist when people choose unity, hope, perseverance, love, and faith.

One Nation Under God.

When we choose unity over division…

Hope over fear…

Love over hatred…

We reflect the very heart of God.

May we never lose sight of that vision.

America still has dreams to fulfill.

Our communities still have work to do.

Our families still need healing.

Our hearts still need God.

But I believe our best days are still ahead when we continue to seek Him together.

Until Your Next Aha Moment…

Don’t forget how far you’ve already come.

Celebrate the victories God has already given you while continuing to trust Him for the ones still ahead.

Whether you’re climbing a mountain, walking through a valley, or patiently waiting outside a closed door, remember this:

God is already ahead of you.

Trust His timing.

Trust His direction.

Trust His heart.

There is purpose in your journey.

There is reward in your perseverance.

And there is a future filled with hope waiting on the other side of your obedience.

Walk forward with courage.

Walk forward with gratitude.

Walk forward with faith.

Until your next Aha Moment, keep trusting, keep growing, and keep believing that God’s best is still ahead.

Grace & Peace,
