The Lion Within You Has Been Awakened

While watching the opening scene of the movie The Black Prince, one statement immediately captured my spirit:

“There is a lion sleeping in that young man that has not yet been awakened.”

That one sentence stirred something deep within me.

What did he see that others could not see?

What did he recognize in that young man before the young man recognized it in himself?

And it made me wonder…

Has anyone ever spoken something over your life concerning your destiny that you yourself could not yet see?

Did their words awaken your curiosity?

Did it stir a hunger within you to search deeper?

Did it make you realize there must be more to life than where you are presently standing?

Deep down, many of us sense it — the stirring of purpose, the pull of destiny, the whisper of Heaven calling us higher.

Can you hear the footsteps of God approaching your life saying:

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1

We are living in unprecedented times.

As darkness increases across our nation and throughout the world, I truly believe God is aligning His people with their heavenly assignments.

Destiny is calling your name.

There is an urgency in the spirit.

No more delay.

No more hiding.

No more shrinking back in fear.

The door is open, and God is saying:

“Walk in now.”

The people assigned to your purpose are waiting for your obedience.

Lives connected to your calling are depending on your “yes.”

It is time to move.

It is time to fulfill purpose.

Your trials were not meant to destroy you — they were designed to prepare you.

Every disappointment, every heartbreak, every closed door, every lonely season was shaping you for this very moment.

You are not behind.

You are being prepared.

The Word of God declares:

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

Do not fear the next season of your life.

Trust the hand of God upon you.

He has ordered your steps.

He has already gone before you making crooked places straight.

Do not be afraid to launch into the deep.

This assignment is not surface-level.

The deep is calling unto deep.

There is more in you than what people have seen.

There is more in you than what you have seen in yourself.

You will soar like the eagle. 🦅

You will leap higher than expected.

You will run and not grow weary.

God will sustain you in dry places.

He will feed you in wilderness seasons.

He will provide for you when resources seem impossible.

For the Scripture says:

“I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging bread.” — Psalm 37:25

And He has not failed you yet.

So arise and shine.

Arise in the dark places.

Arise in the difficult seasons.

Arise in the unfamiliar territory.

Arise and proclaim the goodness of God.

For the victory has already been prepared before you.

The lion within you has awakened.

And Heaven is waiting for your response.
