WARNING ‼️ COMES BEFORE DESTRUCTION — TAKE HEED!

Stop Ignoring the Warning Signals — PLEASE! ⚠️

Hey, Blog Friends and Family! ❤️

I want to start this blog with a very serious question.

HOW MANY WARNINGS DOES GOD HAVE TO GIVE US BEFORE WE FINALLY TAKE HEED?!? ⚠️

One warning? Two warnings? Three?

Or do we wait until everything comes crashing down around us before we realize that God was trying to get our attention all along?

Oh, we’re going somewhere with this one today!

But before we get started, let me make something perfectly clear.

This blog is NOT written to give credit to the devil for what he can or cannot do!

ABSOLUTELY NOT! ✋

This blog is written to remind believers that we have been given power and authority through Jesus Christ to stand against the schemes of the enemy!

We are not fighting FOR victory!

We are standing IN the victory that Jesus Christ has already won!

The problem is that many believers have not fully recognized the authority they have in Christ, and as a result, they continue to live defeated in areas where God has called them to walk in freedom.

2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ…”

Now, that’s something worth shouting about! 🙌

But let me clarify something else.

The devil is not some bougie-looking man walking around with two horns, a pitchfork, and a scary costume, trying to audition for the next horror movie! 😳🤣

NO, MA’AM! NO, SIR!

The Bible describes him as a deceiver and an adversary who seeks to destroy.

He is not interested in your happiness, your peace, your family, your marriage, or your relationship with God.

His objective is to turn people away from the truth of Jesus Christ.

John 10:10 (KJV)

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…”

And that’s why I am sounding the alarm today!

GIVE THE ENEMY NO ACCESS! ⛔️

Not to your mind!

Not to your peace!

Not to your family!

Not to your marriage!

Not to your purpose!

And certainly NOT to your relationship with Jesus Christ!

Because you give the devil an inch, and he will try to take a whole MILE!

And if you are not spiritually alert, you may find yourself standing in a situation that God was warning you to avoid in the first place.

⚠️ Warning Comes Before Destruction!

Proverbs 22:3 (KJV)

“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.”

WOW!

Read that again!

The prudent person recognizes danger and takes precautions, but the foolish person continues forward without considering the consequences.

Now, let me ask you something.

Have you ever had a strong feeling that something just wasn’t right?

An opportunity looked amazing!

The presentation was beautiful!

Everything appeared to be falling perfectly into place!

But deep down inside, something was saying…

STOP! ✋

Don’t go there!

Turn around!

Head in the other direction!

Don’t open that door!

Don’t say that!

Don’t entertain that conversation!

And PLEASE don’t open that Pandora’s box! 📦

Yet, because the opportunity looked so good, you convinced yourself that everything would be fine.

But was it?

Sometimes the very thing we are determined to pursue is the very thing we should be praying about before taking another step.

God can guide us through His Word, godly counsel, circumstances, and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

And yes, as believers, we may also experience dreams that prompt us to pray and seek His wisdom.

But here’s something important: not every dream is a divine warning, and not every closed door is an attack from the enemy.

That’s why spiritual discernment, prayer, and testing what we believe we have received are so important.

1 John 4:1 (KJV)

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God…”

Don’t just follow an impression because it feels powerful.

PRAY! TEST IT! SEEK GOD’S WISDOM!

❤️ Why Would God Pre-Warn You?

Because He LOVES you! ❤️

God sees what you cannot see, knows what you do not know, and understands what lies ahead.

Sometimes His warnings are not meant to frighten you but to protect you, prepare you, and redirect you.

He knows what’s best for you, even when you don’t understand His instructions.

Remember, God’s warnings are an expression of His love, not His rejection.

And sometimes what looks like a missed opportunity may actually be a blessing in disguise.

Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Now, Blog Friends and Family, let me share something that will really make you think!

Because I personally know someone who experienced a frightening dream that, looking back, seemed to carry a serious warning.

And what happened afterward was heartbreaking.

🚪 The Door That Should Have Remained Closed!

Let me share a dream involving the husband of someone I personally know.

And when I tell you this dream was frightening…

WHEW! 😳

You might want to sit down for this one!

My friend’s husband had a dream.

Actually, let’s call it a NIGHTMARE!

In this dream, he was standing in front of a door. 🚪

He had absolutely no idea what was waiting on the other side.

But instead of walking away, he reached for the doorknob.

He turned it.

And then…

HE OPENED THE DOOR!

What happened next was terrifying!

According to his account, a huge, ugly, gray demonic-looking figure suddenly grabbed him, snatched him through the doorway, and began pulling him to the other side!

He struggled!

He fought!

He tried desperately to break free!

But in the dream, the figure was too strong for him to escape.

Meanwhile, in the natural world, his wife was lying beside him in bed.

She noticed that her husband was struggling terribly in his sleep.

Something was wrong!

She got out of bed, turned on the light, and tried to wake him.

But he was difficult to awaken.

When he finally came around, he appeared frightened and shaken by what he had just experienced.

And the first thing he said was…

“THANKS FOR WAKING ME UP!”

He then began telling his wife everything that happened in the dream.

WOW! 😳

Can you imagine?

Standing before a door, opening it, and suddenly finding yourself trapped in something you never expected?

Now, Blog Friends, I cannot say with certainty exactly what that dream meant.

But looking back at what happened in this man’s life, the imagery of that door carries a powerful lesson about choices, discernment, and consequences.

EVERY DOOR THAT OPENS IS NOT NECESSARILY A DOOR GOD WANTS YOU TO WALK THROUGH!

And sometimes the greatest wisdom is knowing when to leave a door CLOSED!

💔 When One Decision Changes Everything

Unfortunately, what happened later in this man’s life was heartbreaking.

A long marriage eventually ended in divorce.

A family unit was separated.

Children were affected.

And the man eventually relocated to a region experiencing war, where reports of missiles, bunkers, and destruction became part of the surrounding reality.

Can you imagine?

A life that once appeared stable had changed dramatically.

Now, I want to be careful here.

We cannot automatically conclude that a dream caused these events or that every hardship is the result of disobeying a warning from God.

But we CAN recognize a serious lesson about the decisions we make and the importance of seeking God’s direction.

Because sometimes we become so focused on what is being offered that we fail to consider what it may cost us.

And THAT is where spiritual discernment becomes essential!

Let me tell you something.

The enemy doesn’t have to present temptation in an ugly package!

Oh, no!

Sometimes temptation comes wrapped in something that looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL! 🎁

A wonderful opportunity!

A new relationship!

A fresh beginning!

A chance to start over!

Everything looks polished, promising, and perfectly packaged.

But when you unwrap it…

ROTTEN TO THE BONES! 🦴

WHEW!

Now that’s a whole Aha Moment right there!

Something can look good without being good FOR YOU!

And something can be available without being assigned to your purpose.

That’s why we must learn to pray before we proceed!

🙏 What Should We Do When We Sense a Warning?

PRAY!

SEEK THE FACE OF GOD!

ASK FOR WISDOM!

And don’t be so quick to move just because something looks appealing!

James 4:7 (KJV)

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Did you catch that?

First, SUBMIT TO GOD!

Then RESIST THE DEVIL!

We cannot expect to walk in spiritual authority while deliberately entertaining the very things God has instructed us to turn away from.

And we must be careful about what we allow to occupy our minds.

Because a thought entertained long enough can influence a decision.

And a decision made without wisdom can lead us somewhere we never intended to go.

GIVE THE DEVIL NO ACCESS! ⛔️

Close the doors to bitterness!

Close the doors to unforgiveness!

Close the doors to deception!

Close the doors to destructive relationships and habits!

And open your heart to the wisdom, peace, and direction of the Holy Spirit.

Now, before I close, I want to share another dream.

This time, it’s MY dream.

And believe me, this one certainly got my attention!

💣 The Beautiful Opportunity That Was Actually a Bomb!

Blog Friends and Family!

I had a dream that left me thinking seriously about spiritual discernment.

In this dream, an item was presented to me.

It appeared to represent an opportunity.

Something that could easily capture my attention.

Something that might look attractive, promising, or beneficial.

But the moment this item was placed into my hand…

I RECEIVED AN IMMEDIATE WARNING!

The message was clear:

“IT’S A BOMB!” 💣

WAIT A MINUTE!

A BOMB?!?!

OH, ABSOLUTELY NOT! 😳

I didn’t stand there admiring it!

I didn’t ask how much it cost!

I didn’t try to figure out whether I could keep it!

I THREW THAT THING TO THE GROUND!

And I RAN! 🏃‍♀️💨

But here’s the interesting part.

I wasn’t just concerned about getting myself out of danger.

I began warning EVERYONE ELSE!

In the dream, I was inside a church building.

And I started sounding the alarm!

“THERE’S A BOMB IN THE BUILDING!”

“EVERYBODY GET OUT!”

People began running!

Everyone was trying to get out of the building!

And then…

I woke up!

The bomb never exploded in the dream.

Maybe everyone got out in time.

I don’t know.

But what stood out to me was this:

I RECOGNIZED THE DANGER, REJECTED WHAT HAD BEEN PLACED INTO MY HAND, AND WARNED OTHERS!

WOW!

Now, I am not claiming to know every detail of what that dream represents.

But I took it as a personal reminder to remain prayerful, watchful, and discerning when opportunities present themselves.

Because something can look like an answered prayer and still require careful examination.

And just because somebody places something in your hand doesn’t mean you have to accept it!

OH, THAT’S GOOD RIGHT THERE! 🙌

You can say…

NO, THANK YOU!

THAT’S NOT FOR ME!

I’M NOT INTERESTED!

AND YOU HAVE NO ACCESS! ⛔️

Sometimes obedience requires us to release what looks good because we trust God to lead us toward what is right.

🚨 Stop Ignoring the Warning Signals!

Now, let me bring this message home.

How many times have we looked back at a situation and said…

“I KNEW I shouldn’t have done that!”

“I KNEW something wasn’t right!”

“I should have prayed about it!”

“I should have waited!”

“I should have listened!”

Sound familiar?

We’ve all had moments when hindsight taught us lessons we wish we had understood beforehand.

But here’s the beautiful thing about God’s mercy.

Even when we make mistakes, we can repent, seek His wisdom, and begin making better decisions.

God’s grace is greater than our failures!

And one wrong decision does not mean our lives are beyond restoration.

Psalm 32:8 (KJV)

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

What a beautiful promise!

God is not asking us to live in constant fear of making a mistake.

He is inviting us to live in fellowship with Him, seek His wisdom, and trust His direction.

So, the next time something presents itself that looks too good to be true…

PRAY ABOUT IT!

The next time you feel pressured to make a decision immediately…

SLOW DOWN!

The next time a relationship, opportunity, or situation begins pulling you away from your convictions…

PAY ATTENTION!

And when you don’t know what to do, find a trusted believer who will touch and agree with you in prayer.

Then place the matter in God’s hands.

You don’t have to force every door open.

You don’t have to accept every invitation.

And you certainly don’t have to entertain everything that comes knocking!

Some doors are better left CLOSED! 🚪⛔️

❤️ Lauretta’s Aha Moment!

“Not every opportunity is an assignment from God, and not every open door is an invitation to enter!”

Sometimes the greatest act of faith is not moving forward.

Sometimes it’s standing still!

Sometimes it’s saying NO!

Sometimes it’s walking away from something you desperately wanted because you value God’s wisdom more than your own desires.

And sometimes the greatest victory is recognizing danger before you become entangled in it!

Remember this:

Discernment recognizes what looks good but may not be good for you.

Wisdom considers the consequences before making the decision.

Obedience trusts God’s direction, even when the answer is NO!

And FAITH believes that whatever God has prepared for you does not require you to compromise your relationship with Him!

So, Blog Friends and Family…

Before you open that door…

Before you sign that agreement…

Before you enter that relationship…

Before you accept that opportunity…

STOP! ✋ PRAY! 🙏 SEEK GOD! ❤️

And if something threatens your peace, your integrity, or your walk with Christ, you have every right to say…

NO ACCESS! ⛔️

Because a warning is only helpful when we are willing to TAKE HEED!

And one last thing…

Don’t become so afraid of what the devil might do that you forget what JESUS CHRIST HAS ALREADY DONE!

Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world!

— 1 John 4:4 (KJV)

Now THAT is where our confidence belongs!

Not in fear!

Not in the enemy!

But in JESUS CHRIST! 🙌❤️
