LORD, I Pray — Help Us, Your People

Boy, oh boy! Are we in the need of prayer.
Excuse me if I begin this blog in this manner, but we need God — for real!
We need God to intervene on behalf of our nation and the nations abroad. Without Him, we will fail as a people and as a country.
One thing I know for sure: without God, we are nothing.
For Scripture says,
“For in Him we live and move and have our being.” — Acts 17:28
When we remove God from our lives, our families, and our nation, we are doomed for destruction. We’ve been moving without Him for too long. But there is hope! God gives us the formula for healing in His Word:
“If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
A Call to the Body of Christ
This may be one of the longest blogs I ever write — but it’s necessary.
I’m pleading with the body of Christ today: intercede!
Stand in the gap, become a mediator, and go back to the altar.
God gave us the blueprint in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
1️⃣ Humble ourselves
2️⃣ Pray
3️⃣ Seek His face
4️⃣ Turn from our wicked ways
Then He promises to:
✅ Hear from Heaven
✅ Forgive our sins
✅ Heal our land
God is faithful to perform His Word — always.
A Personal Reflection
Allow me to be transparent.
I’ve been in need before. I know what it’s like to not have enough to feed your family. I’ve been through furloughs, WIC assistance, and moments when I didn’t know where the next check was coming from.
But through it all, I trusted God.
I understand the frustration of the American people. I see the anxiety, the fear, and the exhaustion. Yet, I also see hope — because God still sits on the throne.
If God doesn’t step in to heal our land, we’re in trouble. But the good news is — He’s waiting on us to pray.
🙏
A Prayer for Our Nation: United in God’s Love
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today as one nation — many people, many cultures, yet all created in Your divine image.
Thank You for the beautiful diversity that fills our land: Americans, Mexicans, Chinese, Indians, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Puerto Ricans, Nigerians, Jamaicans, Koreans, and countless others who call this place home.
You are the God of every tribe and tongue — the Creator of all life and the Sustainer of every heart.
We ask You now, Lord, to breathe unity across our nation.
Let love drown out hatred, peace silence fear, and righteousness rise in every city, state, and home.
Forgive us for the times we’ve been divided by race, politics, or pride.
Remind us that Your Kingdom has no borders — that in Christ we are one family under one Name, one Blood, one Cross.
We lift up our leaders — from the highest office to every local voice — that they would govern with wisdom, compassion, and humility.
Let integrity be their foundation and justice their guide.
We pray for our communities — for families struggling, for children in need, for the elderly who feel forgotten, and for the weary who have lost hope.
Lord, restore strength, renew purpose, and pour out Your Spirit over this land once again.
May revival begin in our hearts,
Healing in our homes,
And harmony in our streets.
God, bless this nation — not just with prosperity, but with peace.
Let every language, every color, and every culture lift one sound together:
“Jesus is Lord.”
For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory — forever and ever.
In Jesus’ Name, we pray, Amen.
Closing Reflection
Beloved, this is the hour to pray like never before.
Let us rise united — interceding, believing, and standing firm on God’s Word.
Because when God’s people pray, Heaven moves.
