**✨ It’s Okay… You’re Not Alone

Hey iPublishub-Books Family,
Y’all already know — before I write anything, I always ask God what He wants me to say. And this time, He kept whispering the same two words in my spirit, over and over again:
“It’s okay.”
At first, I didn’t understand why those words kept repeating. But as I sat with God, I realized my emotions have been everywhere. My sensitivity feels heightened, my heart feels stretched, and everything in me feels a little heavier than usual. And maybe — just maybe — that is exactly why God keeps saying:
“It’s okay.”
It’s okay to feel what you’re feeling.
It’s okay to acknowledge the emotions rising in the pit of your stomach.
It’s okay to admit, “Lord… this is a lot.”
God is not asking you to shut down those emotions or pretend they’re not there.
He’s saying:
Embrace them.
Accept them.
Don’t ignore them.
Talk to Me about them.
What you’re feeling is real — and it’s okay.
Some of what you’re feeling may be old wounds, past hurts, disappointments, or abandoned places resurfacing. The Holy Spirit often brings things back up because He wants to heal them, not because He wants to hurt you.
The holidays are quickly approaching, and this season tends to stir up memories — the beautiful ones, the painful ones, and the quiet ones we don’t talk about. While some are preparing for Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas gatherings, others are sitting in the dark with the covers pulled over their head, grieving someone they deeply miss.
And God wants you to know:
It’s okay if you’re not okay.
You are not alone.
If the holidays make you feel forgotten, reach out to someone.
And to the rest of us — if you know someone who struggles during this time of year, check on them. Call them. Send the text. Mail the card. Drop off a warm meal with a note that simply says:
“I’m thinking about you.”
Doing nothing is not an option.
We are called to love one another deeply.
Someone is silently praying for a gesture that reminds them they matter.
To be transparent… the holidays are a little hard for me too. My three sons aren’t here with me this year — and it’s just me. I miss cooking holiday meals for them. I miss watching them open gifts. I miss seeing their smiles that lit up the room when they were younger. Even though they’re grown men now, I still shop for them, picking up the things they ask for because creating memories with them has always been a joy to my soul.
Yes, we have countless beautiful memories tucked away, but this season hits differently when they aren’t physically here. And God has been gently speaking to me:
“It’s okay to miss your sons.
It’s okay to feel their absence.
They are in My hands — and so are you.
They are covered — and so are you.
They are not alone — and neither are you.”
And I believe God is saying the same thing to you.
You are not forgotten. Heaven knows your name.
God is working behind the scenes even when life feels silent.
You are held, seen, valued, and loved — today and every holiday season.
It’s okay to not feel okay — God meets you in the honest places.
Your story is still unfolding, and God is still writing it.
So hold these scriptures close:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” — Psalm 34:18
The holidays can magnify loneliness or grief, but God draws closer to you, not away from you. Even when your heart feels crushed, you are not alone.
“Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.” — Isaiah 41:10
If you feel drained or overwhelmed, God promises His presence, His strength, and His help.
“Come to me… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Jesus doesn’t ask you to pretend — He invites you to come exactly as you are. He gives rest to your heart and spirit.
“He heals the brokenhearted…” — Psalm 147:3
Some wounds are quiet. Some tears never fall. But God sees it all and heals it all — gently and deeply.
“My peace I give you… not as the world gives.” — John 14:27
Real peace doesn’t come from perfect holidays — it comes from Jesus. His peace stays with you through every moment.
If this holiday season feels different — it’s okay.
If your emotions are louder — it’s okay.
If you’re grieving someone or something — it’s okay.
You are not weak.
You are not forgotten.
You are not walking through this alone.
God sees you.
God loves you.
God is holding you, even now.
And He is whispering to your heart:
“It’s okay.
I’m here.
You’re not alone.”

✨ Closing Prayer
Father,
We lift every heart entering this holiday season with emotions they may not know how to express. Wrap them in Your love. Cover them in Your peace. Let them feel Your presence in the most gentle and comforting way.
Heal every resurfaced wound.
Strengthen every tired heart.
Restore joy where it has been dimmed.
Whisper into every spirit the reminder You have spoken to us:
“It’s okay. I’m here.”
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
