It’s A Sticky Situation

It’s A Sticky Situation

What do you do when you’re stuck in the in-between?

Nowhere to go, nowhere to turn, and nothing you can do in your own strength. What do you do when your heart is broken and you’re left alone to figure out this thing called life?

After 31 years of marriage, the covering that once protected me—my husband, my spiritual partner, my friend—was gone. This isn’t about blame or shame. It’s simply my story.

I was married to an amazing man—an incredible father and provider. Together we raised three beautiful sons, traveled the world, laughed, loved, and created countless memories. But then… life happened. Unexpected situations arose—things we thought we could control but couldn’t.

This blog isn’t about exposing anyone; it’s about the in-between—the transition season where you must trust God for your next move when nothing makes sense. It’s about learning to lean on the everlasting arms of the Lord when everything else fails.

The In-Between Season

Many of us have faced moments where life didn’t turn out as planned, leaving us in a “sticky situation.” You may ask yourself:

  • What do I do now?

  • How do I move forward?

  • Can I really recover from this?

Transition is the space between what was and what’s next.

It’s uncomfortable, uncertain, and often painful—but it’s also where growth happens.

What Is Transition?

Transition means a change or shift from one state, stage, or condition to another. It’s a divine pivot—a God-ordained process that moves you from your past into your purpose.

When it was time for me to pivot, God had already prepared me. Before the separation, He whispered instructions to my heart:

  • Pay off your bills.

  • Save your money.

  • Avoid unnecessary spending.

  • Trust Me when you don’t understand.

  • Don’t judge a matter before time.

  • Start forgiving now.

So when the moment came to move, I was ready—heartbroken, yes, but ready. My bills were paid, my heart was being healed, and my faith was firm. I had to trust God blindly, step by step, not knowing where the path would lead.

The Blessing in the Sticky Situation

Now, looking back, I can see God’s hand in every detail. He became my Protector, my Provider, my Peace.

In this new season of my life, I am healed, loved, and walking in forgiveness. There’s no bitterness—only gratitude.

God took my sticky situation and turned it into a testimony.

From that season came iCaringHands Mobile Phlebotomy Service and iPublishHub Books—both born out of obedience and preparation. I wrote books, started a business, and continued to serve God faithfully.

Today, I live in peace—a beautiful home, a stable job, dependable cars, and most importantly, a renewed relationship with God. This isn’t luck. It’s the fruit of preparation meeting divine opportunity.

Your Turn to Pivot

Friend, whatever sticky situation you’re in right now, don’t give up. Listen for God’s voice. Trust His leading. Cry if you must. Scream, pray, and push your way through.

There is light at the end of your tunnel. You may not see it now, but it’s there. God is not a respecter of persons—what He did for me, He will surely do for you.

Remember:

Preparation + Opportunity = Results

Even in your sticky situation, God is preparing you for something greater.
