**ACCURATE RESULTS Begin With Me!**

**ACCURATE RESULTS

Begin With Me!**

Romans 12:1–2

This morning, while sitting in my phlebotomy booth thinking about what to write for today’s blog, my eyes suddenly landed on a posting I’ve walked past a thousand times:

“Accurate Results Begin With Me.”

I’ve seen it every day… but today, something in my spirit paused.

This simple sign is actually one of our core values in the laboratory — a reminder of personal responsibility, excellence, and integrity. Beneath the headline are three guiding prompts:

I am always careful to:

Always ensure I:

Do my very best to:

Each one reflects accountability, ownership, and commitment — not just to our work, but to the people we serve. It reminded me that every blood draw matters. Every tube matters. Every result impacts a real human life. And I am responsible for making sure that what I do is accurate, honest, and excellent.

As I read it again, the Holy Spirit whispered Romans 12:1–2 to my heart.

Just as the lab holds us accountable for accurate results, God calls us to hold ourselves accountable spiritually:

• To present ourselves as living sacrifices.

• To resist being shaped by the world.

• To allow God to renew our minds.

• To pursue what is good, acceptable, and perfect.

“Accurate Results Begin With Me” isn’t just a workplace value — it’s a spiritual principle.

It’s God reminding us:

“Your transformation… your growth… your obedience… your clarity… begins with YOU yielding to Me.”

AM ALWAYS CAREFUL TO:

According to Romans 12:1–2

According to Romans 12:1–2, being “always careful to” begins with the posture of my heart. Paul urges us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice — meaning every action, every attitude, and every decision must reflect a life surrendered to God.

So when I say, “I am always careful to…”, it means:

1. I Am Always Careful to Present Myself Before God Daily

Before I present a tube to the lab… I present myself to the Lord.

A surrendered heart produces surrendered actions.

A submitted life produces accurate results — spiritually and naturally.

2. I Am Always Careful to Guard My Mind

Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

So I must be careful about what I think, what I absorb, and what I allow to influence me.

Transformation is not accidental — it is intentional.

3. I Am Always Careful to Walk in God’s Standard, Not the World’s

The world says, “Do the minimum.”

God says, “Give Me your best.”

The world says, “Go with the flow.”

God says, “Be transformed.”

Being careful means choosing holiness over convenience, obedience over comfort, and excellence over shortcuts.

4. I Am Always Careful to Seek God’s Will First

Paul teaches that renewed minds help us discern what is the will of God — good, acceptable, and perfect.

So I must slow down, pray, and seek His direction instead of relying solely on my own understanding.

5. I Am Always Careful to Honor God Through My Work

Every blood draw, every sample, every interaction is an opportunity to reflect Christ.

My job becomes worship when I do it with integrity.

“Living sacrifice” doesn’t just apply to the altar —

it applies to the workplace too.

ALWAYS ENSURE I:

According to Romans 12:1–2

When I read the words “Always ensure I…”, it challenges me to examine not just what I do, but howand why I do it. Romans 12:1–2 gives a blueprint for making sure my actions align with God’s will — spiritually and professionally.

1. Always Ensure I Offer God My Best, Not My Leftovers

A sacrifice was never careless or halfway.

It was the best, offered with the right heart.

So I ensure that whatever I do — drawing blood, serving patients, praying, or writing — reflects excellence unto God.

2. Always Ensure I Do Not Blend In With the World

“Do not be conformed…”

I ensure that my attitude, words, work ethic, and responses look like Christ — not culture.

3. Always Ensure I Guard My Thoughts and Motives

Transformation begins in the mind.

I ensure my thoughts stay aligned with Scripture, not emotion.

4. Always Ensure I Test Every Decision Through God’s Word

“…that by testing you may discern what is the will of God…”

I ensure that Scripture — not stress, not feelings — guides my choices.

5. Always Ensure I Reflect God in the Way I Treat Others

A renewed mind produces renewed behavior.

I ensure that kindness, patience, and compassion show up in every interaction — especially on the days that feel heavy.

6. Always Ensure I Honor God in the Hidden Things

Integrity in private is just as important as integrity in public.

I ensure that even the unseen parts of my life honor God.

DO MY VERY BEST TO:

According to Romans 12:1–2

The phrase “Do my very best to…” is more than a workplace standard — it is a spiritual calling. Romans 12:1–2 raises the bar for how we show up in life, ministry, and daily assignments.

1. Do My Very Best to Live a Life That Pleases God

Every decision, attitude, and action should reflect a heart surrendered to Him.

2. Do My Very Best to Resist the Pull of This World

The world pressures us to compromise.

God calls us to stand firm.

3. Do My Very Best to Renew My Mind Daily

Transformation is continuous.

I give God my mind every day so He can shape my life.

4. Do My Very Best to Walk in Discernment

I pause, pray, listen, and obey — so I stay in the center of His will.

5. Do My Very Best to Serve With Excellence

Every patient, every task, every assignment becomes an offering to God.

6. Do My Very Best to Represent Christ Everywhere I Go

I want others to encounter Jesus through my behavior, not just my words.

At the end of the day, “Accurate Results Begin With Me” is more than a sign on the wall — it’s a call to spiritual maturity. Romans 12:1–2 reminds us that God is not asking for perfection, but for intentionality, surrender, and a renewed mind. When I am careful to honor Him, ensure my actions reflect His character, and do my very best to walk in His will, I position myself for growth, excellence, and transformation. Whether in the lab, at home, in ministry, or in the quiet places of my heart, the responsibility to live a surrendered life begins with me. And when I give God my best, He breathes on it, multiplies it, and uses it for His glory.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding me that true transformation begins with a surrendered heart. Help me daily to present myself as a living sacrifice — holy, acceptable, and available for Your use. Renew my mind, reshape my thoughts, and align my desires with Your will. Strengthen me to resist the pull of the world and to walk in the excellence, integrity, and compassion that reflect Your character.

Lord, let everything I do — in my workplace, my home, my ministry, and my private life — bring glory to Your name. Teach me to be careful in my actions, intentional in my choices, and faithful in doing my very best. When I feel weak, discouraged, or overwhelmed, remind me that Your grace is sufficient and Your Spirit empowers me.

May my life produce “accurate results” that honor You, bless others, and point back to the transforming work of Christ in me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
