🌾 A Season of Waiting

Waiting, huh?

I know a lot about that—waiting!

It’s not always fun, especially when it feels like everyone around you is moving forward—your friends, your co-laborers in the faith—while you’re sitting still, waiting on God.

It’s not the most comfortable place to be. In fact, sometimes it’s frustrating. But even when it feels slow, it’s necessary.

Is it always pleasant? No.

Is it always joyful? Not quite.

But is it purposeful? Absolutely.

🕊️

The Potter’s Wheel: Where Purpose Takes Shape

Everyone will face a season of waiting.

It’s where God perfects you, strengthens you, molds you, purges you, and transforms you into everything He designed you to become.

This is the place where the Potter’s hands take hold—pressing, shaping, and sometimes crushing—until your life reflects His image.

“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and we all are the work of Your hand.” — Isaiah 64:8

The Potter’s Wheel is not a place of comfort, but of creation.

His firm grip is not punishment—it’s process.

The spinning isn’t chaos—it’s divine rhythm.

And the silence? It’s not neglect. It’s focus.

God is quiet because He’s crafting. He’s holding you steady while His eyes are fixed on your transformation.

🌤️

The Stillness Is the Miracle in Motion

Our human nature craves movement, but sometimes, stillness is the miracle in motion.

In those quiet, hidden moments, God is aligning details you can’t see.

The delay isn’t denial—it’s divine preparation.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

God’s silence doesn’t mean He’s absent.

It means He’s working—behind the curtain, behind the chaos, behind your tears.

🌿

The Purpose in Waiting

Every waiting season carries purpose.

It’s where patience, endurance, and peace are cultivated.

It’s where you learn that joy isn’t found in getting your way—it’s found in trusting God’s.

“For still the vision awaits its appointed time… If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” — Habakkuk 2:3

There’s sacred beauty in this season.

It’s where your roots grow deep enough to sustain the fruit that’s coming.

💫

What To Do While You Wait

1️⃣ Pray — not for speed, but for strength.

Ask God to steady your heart rather than rushing His process.

2️⃣ Praise — even when it hurts.

Worship shifts your focus from what’s missing to Who’s faithful.

3️⃣ Prepare — for what’s next.

Faith without preparation is just a wish. Act like it’s coming—because it is.

Peace doesn’t come when everything is fixed;

Peace comes when you trust that God is doing the fixing.

🌸

The Waiting Room Has No Timer

This season doesn’t come with a stopwatch.

You can’t fast-forward through it or skip ahead.

But you can rest knowing this—

The One who holds time also holds your heart.

When God finally calls your name and opens that next door, you’ll understand why you had to wait. Every tear, every pause, every prayer was preparing you for His promise.

“Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.” — Isaiah 40:31

💖

Closing Reflection

If you’re sitting in your waiting room today, breathe.

Don’t rush to leave.

If you’re on the Potter’s Wheel, don’t try to get off.

Stay there—He’s not finished with you yet.

You are not forgotten; you are being formed.

You are not abandoned; you are being aligned.

Let His peace guard your heart as you wait for the promise to unfold.

This season isn’t punishment—it’s preparation.

And peace… is your appointment.
